Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data

This privacy notice is provided by GEPIDO (“Gepido”) as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to people who contact us through the quote request form on our website.

Personal data we process

• Identity and contact details: your name, company, e-mail address and phone number.
• Request details: your project or location, your message, and the product, colour, size and quantity you are interested in.
• Your choices on commercial electronic messages and explicit consent.

Why we process it

• To receive, assess and answer your quote and information requests,
• to contact you and carry out the quotation and order process,
• to meet our legal obligations,
• if you give your consent, to send you commercial electronic messages and to carry out personalised marketing activities.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed because it is directly necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK Article 5/2-c), necessary to meet our legal obligations (Article 5/2-ç), and necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Article 5/2-f). Commercial electronic messages and personalised marketing activities are based only on your consent and explicit consent.

How we collect it

Your personal data is collected electronically, through the message you prepare with the quote request form on our website and send to us by e-mail or WhatsApp. The terms of the e-mail or WhatsApp service you use to send it also apply.

The models you add to your quote list are kept only in the browser on your own device, until you empty the list or delete your browser's site data (a model no longer offered is taken out of it). The website does not keep what you type in the form. When a long list is sent by e-mail, the whole message is copied to your device's clipboard so that you can paste it into the e-mail. Apart from the anonymous counts described below, nothing is sent to us or to anyone else until you send your message yourself.

Anonymous visit statistics

To understand which models and colours interest our visitors, the website counts, without identifying anyone, when a product page is opened, a colour is chosen, a model is added to the quote list and a quote request is sent. Only the model, colour and size are recorded, as daily totals. No cookies are used, and no name, contact detail, IP address or any other information that could identify you or your device is recorded.

Who we share it with

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with legally authorised public authorities, with the service providers we work with (such as e-mail and hosting providers), and with our suppliers to the extent needed for the quotation and order process, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about it if it is; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK; to request that these corrections and deletions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
